Affiliate Marketers ‘Pathetic’
“You guys think small. Holding up a 6 figure check is just pathetic. That’s your industry’s biggest success? Really?“
The words of Jason Calacanic, keynote speaker at the ongoing Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas, USA. And that was just one of a number of less-than-positive comments made by him during the session. If you read through the transcript, he does make a number of good points, albeit made with the finesse of a bull in a china shop.
Jason sees much of the affiliate industry as a source of spam (can’t argue with him there), and calling the ‘big boys’ pathetic for brandishing their 6 figure cheques was mildly amusing (not that I personally begrudge them their bragging rights).
But for all you big affiliates out there, how about giving back a little something to others…
