As you may we ll have noticed, the blog is looking a little different today! Thanks to Syed Balkhis of balkhis.com, who was good enough to give me a free makeover in honour of the launch of his new competition, Pimp My Blog.
This is the first dark theme I’ve ever tried, and I think it certainly looks distinctive. Be sure to check out Syed’s competition, as he will be giving 1 person a free makeover every month! It seems like it will be a sure winner for both his blog, and readers alike, especially given the quality of the design.
At the same time, I also made the switch to Wordpress 2.5; it’s not too bad once you get used to the new layout, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth all the hype. A good upgrade, nothing more. I should also point out that all plugins I’m using seem to be compatible (including my own).
