Working on OIOpublisher 2.0
Published by on May 28th, 2008I don’t know if it can be called a re-write from the ground up, but I’ve taken the first steps towards building a more versatile script, with standalone functionality & multiple platform compatibility in mind.
The end result should be an ad platform that works on any php website (more or less), but also integrates as seamlessly with Wordpress (and hopefully other platforms) as it does now.
Here’s hoping it’s a good one!

Well if 2.0 is anything like 1.0 … then you’ll be just fine. Great Product and I’m 100% happy with it!

Can’t wait to see what you have in store. Just remember the PHP 4 websites. A lot of good things are coming out that use PHP 5, and forget about the rest of us.

It should be php4 compatible. I rarely use php5 only features, even in non-public code to be honest.

Brilliant idea! I’m looking forward to seeing a first release
Tight integration with WordPress is a very good thing to have.
Will 2.0 be ‘free’ for current users or will there be an upgrade fee?

It will be free for existing users.

I’ll be looking forward to the version 2.00 but any chance that we get email notifications of purchases…?
Thanks, Simon.

You do (or at least you should). If you’re not receiving mail, it’s more likely a problem with the host than the script.

Oh, I’ll check that! Thanks. I do get updates on stats and stuff. So I guess it works, I do need to sell more slots!
